- Fungi are heterotrophs, plants are autotrophs. Proof: very well known fungi and plant places in ecosystems, even in everyday life. Fungi feed on organic matter, while plants don't. Only plants use photosynthesis.
- Fungi don't have any root, they have mycelium instead. Roots and mycelium structures are extremely different. Proof: just look at them, either through a microscope or even just with your bare eyes.
