So I wanna play a Pokemon game and catch all the pokemon, including event exclusives and whatever. How do I achieve this? A link to a decent resource would be great if possible.

Also, should I play Platinum or Soul Silver?

Are you talking about playing a legit cartridge, a ROM, what?

If you're OK with ROMs, I'd go with Blaze Black 2 or Volt White 2, they're fan edits of BW2, give trainers, gym leaders and the elite four more and stronger Pokemon, raises the level of owned Pokemon, but most importantly it adds EVERY Pokemon up until that gen into the game. So you can catch all six hundred and whatever Pokemon in one game. You have to buy a lot of balls. Lots.

Nah, I don't really wanna go beyond Gen 4, and I do wanna play on an actual DS and not an emulator.

Been googling and the Storm Silver hack seems alright, I'm guessing that is emulator only too right?
