Due to the nutrient rich environment of Alola, Victreebel no longer needs to rely on carnivorous habits to sustain itself, and has no need for the Poison-typing. Instead, it has repurposed its once toxic mouth as a burning cannon.
Spitting fire, it fends off annoying Bug-types and pressures other Grass-types to leave the area, allowing it near complete domination of resources.
