Game Freak really fucked up translating this game into Chinese. The Chinese do not give a fuck and won't get caught. A friend of mine has been working on the localisation and has given me extremely detailed information about the first 1/2 of the game.

>4 islands, MeleMele, Akala, Ula Ula and Poni as we all know
>By about 1/3 of the way through Ula Ula island you will have met 8 trial captain. 2 on MeleMele (Normal and Bug), 4 on Akala (Electric, Grass, Water and Fire) and 2 on Ula Ula (Rock and Flying)
>You don't battle all of the trial captains, of those listed you battle Normal, Grass, Fire and Flying
>Totems after each trial. Gumshoos, Cutiefly evo, Vikavolt, Lurantis, Bruxish, Salandit evo, Minior evo and Pikipek last evo (Steel/Flying)
>Alola forms found by this point Rattata line (Dark), Ekans line (Poison/Water), Parasect (Grass/Ghost), Ponyta line (Rock/Fairy), Grimer line (Fire) and Doduo line (Ground/Fighting)
