It sucks. A lot of the Fakemon are cringeworthy, it forces you to use derps for the first half of the game, the cool/powerful mon you don't get access to until near the very end of the game, it crashes occasionally, and it has game breaking bugs.

There is a massive difficulty spike after the sixth gym.

The game forces you to grind.

The final battles are basically a hell gauntlet that you can't heal in between.

I've seen plenty of pokemon fan games released and completed and no one has said a word about them and haven't gotten DMCA notices. Notably Pokemon Zeta/Omicron, and Pokemon Insurgence,

I get that it was supposed to be a pseudo, but really wanted to use Devimp in my playthrough. Found out that you don't even see the thing until victory road.

I'm nuzlocking too, it's mostly just grind grind grind and getting locked to shitmons or shitty looking mons that I don't want to use. I use Cheat Engine set to 5 to grind. I've had quite a few deaths too. My evolved Dunsparce is probably my heaviest hitter right now.

On another note, I think the best thing the devs can do for this game right now is to get a better sprite artist. It would improve the Fakemon immensely

they made a new type that is weak to pretty much every type in the game and gave it to all the bosses. the final boss is lvl 85 but you can still knock it out in one hit easily with one move.

I just lost my nuzlocke 5 badges in.
The Surfing ninja boss killed my gyarados and everything else I had that could deal with fire, and some random firebreather with the fire starter's final form totalled the 3 mons I had left (including my grass/steel metalynx)

I installed it into a folder that was called Pokémon instead of Pokemon, and apparently the game is not well-programmed enough to see that é is a letter, so it couldn't start.

The patch does seem to make the game quite a bit faster, as it instead drops all the frames it doesn't have time to render. It's still sluggish however. I'd like to try out the extensions you mentioned.

Nuclear typing is cool, you don't get any "pure" nuclears for a while so they're worthless to carry though
