>>27867325You seem like you have it mostly right. The Magician might be a further clue that helps you reach "abracadabra, alakazam", so you know that the monk is the inspiration for a new form. The rabbit might be based on a mistaken (I think?) notion that Alakazam is a rabbit.
For my money, there's no reason to think that the Gemini Elf is a clue about anything other than Alakazam. It's a pretty plain card, but, in addition to what others have said, the flavor text -
