I've been thinking about putting a PMD fangame together as a bit of a pet project. I'll probably never deliver but, if someone were to put one together, what would you want to see in it?

which begs the question who did you pick as yourself and your partner and what did you name them?
I picked a Fenniken named Chai for myself and a Snivy named Sea as my partner

Honestly, this is part of why I liked Super. As the player, I got to choose for myself to say "No. This is not the way her story ends, and come hell or high water I WILL bring her back." It's easier to do it with the character you've been "being" the entire game, rather than with a partner, and it's got more punch when you do it rather than being deus ex machina'd back.

Here's a list of things I want in a PMD game off the top of my head

>be able to be any first stage pokemon or unevolvable pokemon except legendaries
>bring back friend areas (you obtain them when you recruit someone and you don't have to buy friend areas)
>be able to battle legendaries or bosses multiple times, getting tougher the more you fight them (say they want a rematch or something)
>more floor 99 dungeons and lv.1 dungeons
>level adjustable dungeons where the reward depends on how many floors you want to go through (3 floors minimum, 99 floors max. the higher the floors, the more rewards you can get)
>be able to recruit more than one type of pokemon (super made you have each pokemon, but if you evolve one, that pokemon is 'lost' forever, meaning you can't obtain that first stage pokemon again)

>emeras don't go away when you remove them from a looplet, you're able to keep them outside dungeons and they're upgradable (though they start out really useless. that's where upgrading them comes in)

>you have a base of your own, like paradise in GtI and your house in RT, and you can put stuff outside / around it
>be able to battle other players
>huge post-game content

An anon in /pmdg/ started on one in C and posted the source code when he gave up. Not sure where he posted it bit I have it saved

Every character, or at least main character, having their own name and maybe something distinguishable in their designs (clothing, scars, slightly different color, whatever). A varied selection of playable Pokemon, just the starters sucks so much.

It would be cool if all the Pokemon you encountered in dungeons were all subtly different colors from one another. Like one Pikachu being slightly darker than another. Plus it wouldn't be that hard to do
