So if Gumshoos is the first totem who want to bet that we're going to get free Riolu early on? Or at least free Rockruff to have high defense against normal on our team

The concept of 'totem' or 'alpha' pokémon could be extended easily to any other region, and would be a cool permanent addition to the franchise
