My fiance and I sometimes play pokemon on our DS's while eating out and you know what happens? Sometimes a passerby might stop and talk to us about the games and we have a nice chat and thats it. Its no big deal to anyone with any kind of social adjustment.
Now I'm going to go out on a limb and say you went out in public and sperged out. Maybe you wore your fursuit or a diaper, I don't know. But people pointed and laughed and this is how you've rationalized it. If so, try to get some help or something.
