I've always loved Dragonite but I can see why some people wouldn't like it. It suffers from the same thing as Golem and Machamp, they're awesome pokes but don't make much sense in the context of their evolutionary lines

Lance's Dragonite hyperbeaming the fuck out of that dude in Mohagany town is what made me like Dragonite. Plus the fact that it was literally the only Dragon-type pokemon at the time.
