>>27936693>What depth does Krabby have?Look at krabby's joints. The shoulders and hips, for example. They're drawn as actual ball-and-socket joints, in which the end of the limb has a cupped head that is situated over a receiving stub on the body. There's also its tusks, which are given the impression of being embedded in the jaw, yet extending beyond it, due to the fact that they are not completely outlined, like every one of crabrawler's features is.
Compare with crabrawler, whose arms and legs look like they are simply stuck onto its body. Especially egregious in the case of its legs, since there isn't even an obvious hip region in its design. If the legs were separated from the body and you had to manually place them, you'd have little idea of where they're supposed to go other than "somewhere in the lower region."
Then there's the fact that krabby has a number of different shapes that make up its design, with unique shapes for his forearms and claws, quadrilaterals for its leg segments, blade shapes for its feet, round eyes, and triangular tusks.
Whereas in crabrawler's design, 90% of it could be drawn using only ellipses.
