Favorite pokemon and reasoning?

Mine is Infernape. Was my first ever pokemon, and I, much like most kids, swept through platinum with my op fire-fighting monkey of fucking DESTRUCTION.

I used a Budew in Diamond, then when it evolved I used it as my main. When I finally got to the point where I had a shiny stone I was too attached to my Roselia to evolve it and ended up basically sweeping the rest of the game with an unevolved pokemon, to the point where it was level 83 by the end while everything else I used sat squarely between 20 and 40.
I guess I didn't evolve it because I just really appreciated the design and was too stupid to know otherwise, but even now I rarely use Roserade when I can use Roselia instead.
I promise I'm not autistic.
