What the fuck is wrong with Game Freak revealing a new Pokemon every day? Are they trying to reveal the whole game before it comes out as a punishment to the ones who leaked Greninja, Hawlucha and others before XY release?
I wanted to buy this game some months ago but now I know everything about it so it's not worth playing it anymore.

Thats just the new strategy, the're revealing everything to hype fans to buy the game.
We're still going to get at least 6 more reveals (coro coro issues plus 3 early month reveals) possibly more

I wanted a game where I could discover new Pokemon and an entire new world, but they literally revealed the entire pokedex. Also how am I supposed to enjoy my journey when they already showed a video gameplay of someone starting the game and ruined the surprise for me.

Here's what they should do in my opinion for next time: Make around 50 new pokemon lines and post the starter evolution for each line every week. This gives people a rough idea of what to expect but lives almost 2/3rd's of the pokedex a surprise and gets people to evolve all the new mons. This would include the starters.

Personally i dont mind that much allthough its funny to see who few months back the entire vp was like "BOOHOO they ruined gen 6 by spoiling everything!!!" (even though most of the spoilers came from leakers) and now, just because its the promo season everyone is like "oh ok, i like that they reveal so much"

Okay, so we've seen a fair amount of Pokémon, but we don't how many there are. Also, we know next to nothing plot-wise. The little gameplay we've been shown has told us very little about the actual story since it's mostly been just a few snippets with basically zero context.

This is probably the best possible strategy they could go with. Reveal enough to give people a taste of the new game, but leave out the crucial stuff. It has the added benefit of people trying to take the info and piece it all together, which keeps the hype at a steady level.

It's the case with most games, really, and at any rate, we have it better now than back when there were separate releases for Japan and other markets. There's a difference between controlled pre-release info and stuff being spoiled because a) the game is already out in some places, or b) someone who's gotten their hands on it early is leaking it.

Also, to be fair, the fact that we know when and how the info is coming makes it a whole lot easier to avoid.

First, new pokémon designs are not everything there is to a pokémon game.

Second... If you don't want spoilers, don't follow news. I get the designs opf the new pokémon are difficult to avoid if you browse /vp/ or any pokémon related website, but seeing anything else, like gameplay, new feautres, abilities/moves, characters and so on is your own damn fault for seeking it out.

I've been following spoilers of pokémon games on the internet since Ruby and Sapphire were announced, but I didn't mind waiting back then.

But since the pre-BW days I've had to deal with all kinds of retards and their stupid shit every time something new is announced, so I just want these so called """hype""" seasons to end as soon as possible.
