>>27948700>>27948439In hindsight, perhaps that was obvious. I haven't touched any of the Johto games in a while, but I've always believed it to be the case. Glad I have some confirmation.
>>27949595I think I'll peruse her scenes in the anime whenever I'm bored. Thanks for the tip!
>>27949556I don't think I'd call that autistic. I more or less agree with your assessment, though I just catch and play with my favorites for regular game runs anyway. I have a thought about this earlier.
All Pokemon are potentially hazardous (admittedly, some more than others,) with many having an inclination toward coexistence, but Psychic Pokemon, Dragons, etc. they stand out as the most devastating.
I think this is part of why so many Trainers specialize in Types and similarities. Simply put, it's much easier to understand them if you're studied them, trained specifically for them, etc. Easier to bond. We tend to laugh at the easiness of these specialists, but I think it makes sense. I also think they'd be incredibly devastating since a specialist, while perhaps having glaring faults, would have so many strong Pokemon of the same or similar typing in their arsenal that someone with a collection of Pikachu and Hoppip (that is, no specialty, but capturing easier breeds) might be able to feasibly control while on the go.
I think that's fascinating stuff.
>>27948850I thought this as a kid as well. It'd be nice to see something of that nature explored in future titles.
>>27948741>>27948802I've always thought the Unown were fascinating. It'd be nice to see them explored some more, though I can see why Game Freak and company might have abandoned that at this juncture.
