In White, he fights for the Truth. As in, the truth of the matter is, Pokemon don't belong with humans.

You as the player, beat him with your ideals. The ideal world of a co-existence between humans and Pokemon.

In Black, he fights for ideals, an ideal world where humans leave pokemon alone.

You fight him off with the truth that both humans and pokemon need each, as pokemon love to battle anyway.
