>>27969476After Platinum, I think they realized that remakes will always sell way better than 3rd games, enough to not justify making the 3rds anymore. They tried something new with BW2 and it went well, and postponed their next remake to make it a grand affair on the 3DS.
That's what I expect going forward. After SM we'll probably get the DP remakes, and they'll sell well. We'll see Kalos again, it'll just take a few years
