>>27975779>No feeling will match running into a Butterfree or Scyther in the National Park during a contest! For me it was always Pinsir.
I can't explain it, but Pinsir to me just seems so fucking rare and unusual as a bug pokemon- It's inspired and based of beetles, but if you told me that I'd never know. I love it.
It's just so WEIRD looking- I'm not even sure how this thing lives in the wild since I previously always thought it lived in trees, you know? Sucking sap and eating berries and fruit, but according to the Pokedex and catch information it may actually just wander around on ground looking for prey to cleave with it's horns before eating.
They say it also buries itself when it gets too cold: Imagine going out in autumn into the forest when all the leaves are changing and there's a brisk breeze blowing through the trees and you're there with your little brother or maybe a fellow bug-weaboo looking for PINSIR MOUNDS to dig up and catch them while they're still sluggish and cold due to the seasonal changes? Cozy. COZY.
