I honestly cannot remember. I know I have print outs of the official site that had Jessie and James listed as 12 (which I completely thought was fair because 12 was ollddddd)
I know I used some website with a black background to decide I wanted to get Blue version. (Because it had Vulpix listed as a blue exclusive)
I know there were tons of geocities/angelfire sites.
I know there was a site I first learned of Mew from, but I don't remember what site it was other than it had pictures of the SNES backgrounds.
I really only remember hanging out on some browser/program called Surfmonkey and the AOL Chatrooms.
