What does /vp/ think about Spiritomb? It's one of my favorites, but I never see anyone talking about it.

It needs 108 HP. Even when it had no weaknesses it wasn't a great tank. 108 defenses aren't that fantastic.

Super underrated and definitely one of my favorite gen 4 pokemon. Spirtomb looks so bizarre and I love the concept for it, being thousands of lost souls enclosed in a stone. In my top 3 ghost type pokemon behind sableye and gengar. Makes for a great "villainous" pokemon, never seen it protrayed in a positive light.

It was such a pain in the ass to get before ORAS, not many people formed an attachment to it. I remember it being excellent leverage in gen IV global trading.

Spiritomb is one of the coolest ghost types in my opinion, he has a crazy design which really stands out from a lot of other pokemon. Also have you ever seen him use retaliate? It looks hilarious.

It is only "meh" competitively, and is too hard to get to be useful in most playthroughs. I only got to use one when I hacked one into Pearl, then bred it and used the baby for SS.

Something about the blue with purple looks off to me. I really love the blue but I don't know if the purple compliments it. Still cool looking.
