Discuss ideas for Pokemon you would find cool, interesting, or cute.

What would you guys think of a "counterpart" to Arceus? Not alla Giratina, but more we have the Renegade Pokemon or Zygarde's Order Pokemon, what about a Chaos/Entropy Pokemon?
Considering Arceus came from a void of nothing, maybe a "Pokemon" to predate Arceus?
Just general idea thread really

I thought of a worm that can't make it's own shell, therefore in a state of perpetual embarrassment.
You have to give it a shell to evolve, which will determine it's second typing, Bug/???
Then it evolve into a flying type keeping it's second typing, Flying/???

It'd be really cool to have a Pokemon antagonist in a game. Like instead of an evil team, there's an evil association of Pokemon with the Box Legendaries leading them.

It probably won't happen though, because all Pokemon have to be righteous in the end and the evil is human and all that shit.

Something like a Jorgumandr/Ouroboros could work for that. The snake that spins eternal, introducing the concept of impermanence to existence as that within its ring will always fade away. It could create a sort of duology with Arceus as it seeks to create an existence that will surpass the entropy of the loop.

An Ouroboros esc Pokemon would be great. and if you wanted to fit it into lure, think of it like a ying and yang, aka Arceus came to being, therefore this Pokemon came to exist. Arceus is the concept of existence and a leader, the other Pokemon could be the concept of nothing, and an adversary. I love how deep some roots Pokemon digs into for design choices. We also have Order, Renegade, Space, Time, etc. A Pokemon embodying a more malicious nature could work really well, like how Hoopa unbound's avarice and Giratina's origin works.

poison/steel or water/steel Swordtail Newt. the steel typing is pretty self explanatory but I can't decide between water or poison as a subtype

Elementals kinda work well, but I think we sort of have the Regis for that job though, along with the Kami/Genie trio. I would like to see an expanded arc like traditional Elementals though

I wasn't thinking in terms of Legendaries though. Maybe some Gust of wind that gradually evolves into a storm? Also, they don't have to necesarilly be pure types. How about Fairy/Flying, Fairy/Water, Fairy/Fire and Fairy/Ground?

Honestly GF has a lot of good opportunities for pokemon that could be made.

Example, Poison/Steel Pollution legendary pokemon. I could definitely see it as an antagonist against some nature pokemon or even just a general antagonist to the main character's story.

I agree, I also can see Salandit's evo taking a turn like this as well. Poison steel is more fitting for over all though, give it some moves like Aqua jet, and you'll be good.

Yes, but thats more for actual Ying and Yang, aka Ideology vs Truth. I more mean in the "Good can't exist without evil" route. Ying and Yang aren't actually good and evil, just opposites as a whole.

As long as it doesn't look completely edgy I'm fine with it.

I'd like a little fairy that, when evolved through love in the daytime becomes a fairy queen which has more flowery elements about her, but when evolved at night while knowing something like Nasty Plot it becomes an evil buglike pixie.

Starting off as pure fairy, and becoming Fairy/Grass or Fairy/Dark

This League of Legends character always seemed like it would make a good pokemon. Would obviously be Ice/Flying. GF needs to start implementing some more inspired designs instead of giving us a fucking sandcastle or a ghost in a Pikachu outfit.

Tombstone pokemon needs to happen. A Ghost/Rock. It could even be lying down next to an actual tombstone and take you by surprise when you read it for maximum spookage.

Airy's final form is focused on battle. This said, Airy's final form is too much similar to Volcarona IMO.

Heck have a Ghost/Fairy Legendary that guards the big ass Island and the "opposite" of Arceus (Chaos over Order, Mind over Matter, Dream Pokemon vs. Reality Pokemon) and have a Ghost v. Fairy War based on Celtic Myths and shit man be dope af.

I had the idea of a Rock type Pokemon that grows evolutionary stones on it's back. like, it starts out as a Rock type, but if you give it a water stone it becomes a Rock/water type and grows water stones on its back.
