Guys, I think I figured out what Mimikyu really is. Many have speculated what could possibly be underneath that yellow cloth it wears, but I think I may have deciphered what secrets this little guy is hiding under there.

I think that Mimikyu has no true form. Sounds retarded? Yeah, I know, but hear me out.

Mimikyu wears a piece of pokemon merchandise, particularly Pikachu related, in hopes of being loved. The piece of merchandise, according to it's bio, rose in popularity around 20 years ago. 20, huh? That's an oddly specific number. Sure, it's Pokemon's 20th anniversary, but could it have a more significant meaning than that?

Let's look at it's typing: Ghost/Fairy. This is definitely a novel typing, but what does it's typing have to do with anything? Well, Ghost type pokemon, judging by pokedex entries, usually range from mischief makers who don't do any long-term harm to soul-sucking killers. Fairy types are usually harmless, affectionate and, well, complete polar opposites of Ghost and Dark types. Judging by this, one could argue that Mimikyu is essentially a "good spirit".

A good spirit? Ok, but what is it a spirit OF?
