>>28008687No. There are a limited number of Mega evolutions. Why waste a Z-Move slot of a Mega pokemon, when you can give the Z-Move to a different pokemon and a Megastone to your Mega pokemon. You're basically handicapping yourself.
The meta is practically pick Mega, build a team around it. Now its gonna be pick Mega, choose 2nd pokemon for Z-Move, build a team around it.
Sure, this method fails when you're using multiple Mega pokemon (Scizor, Garchomp for ex). But most pokemon in this situation benefit more from a Choice Band/Life Orb item than a single, mere (150/250? BP) attack.
