Roothoot isn't 100% dead yet. And I think there is a high chance of the starters second forms being revealed on September 1st (With their 3rd evolutions in October/November? If there are split evolutions). The question is... Will Roothoot live on? Maybe people will keep it alive until Generation 8? We will see
