Gen 2 was the first generation I played with my two friends who lived in the neighborhood; we all got Game Boy Colors in different colors (mine was green) and we each got a different version of Pokemon so that we could trade with each other and be sure to get all the pokemon and complete the pokedex. I had so much fun the summer of 2001. But then my friend who had Gold version, his grandfather died in the North Tower. And they moved out as a result. Then my other friend who had Silver moved across town because his parents wanted him to switch schools.
Fuck you, Al-Qaeda. You ruined my goddamn Pokemon adventure.
