because 99% of players would just get the evo for whatever island happens to be around level 32-36

traveling back to previous islands would be a pain
and holding out for 10 levels to evolve it on the next island would an even bigger pain

overall its a fucking terrible concept

It'd be better if there was a system in place based on the time of day. Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Night, and each one was a representative of each island instead, or there was just a simple pain free way of getting to each island without any hassle.

Anon it's this simple. If you don't like that start choose another one or box them completely and catch a mon you like.

People are making such a big deal over this when it isn't even a big thing to begin with.

I don't like any of the starters. I'm bringing my trusty Meloetta over to lead my team.

this is shit i never understood. Like, even if you don't like the new mons, the old mons are still there and you can get them and use them in this new adventure all you want.
