Anyway, Reshiram being fire is less plasma than Zekrom is being electricity. What plasma is, is a nuclear bond where the state of matter is not solid, liquid or gas and more along the lines of electricity. However it isn't . Reshiram does take up the space of being "heat" though, because fire can only really exist if oxygen is present. Any gas can be ignited, this is true, however if there is no oxygen present then you would have a mass of energy and a new state called plasma. This means that the ions and electrons are still zooming around the atom, but are at different charges, distances, speeds etc. This is why it causes strong electromagnetic fields and "lightning", but none of this is possible without heat energy through the nuclear fusion - which is what causes the ionization of gasses to become plasma to begin with.
The sun is not fire at all because that would require oxygen, but lava itself is sort of the same. So to say that the sun shouldn't be fire type is a little ridiculous, because clearly fire types are based on heat and the sun is definitely fucking hot. It also literally can cause fires and droughts without even being physically beside earth.
SO no plasma is not FIRE/electricity
but plasma is HEAT/electricity (essentially, in terms of ionization and electrons). The form plasma takes looks like electricity, which really is just very unstable and energized gas. Lava is not plasma because it's a liquid state of a solid without the ionization.
