This, also maybe a Honchkrow or Skarmory. Both are pretty good. If you're really stuck, just use an eeveelution. A good supplement pokemon

Playthrough was hell but I'd do it again no question.. highly recommend playing with Sudowoodo and Wobbuffet

Wobbuffet in singleplayer? Interesting choice.
What are some tips for sudowoodo? Might use that in one of my playthroughs.

Wobbuffet in single player was a masochism check. I would look up moves that gym leader mons had so I wasn't caught off guard by phys/spec attacks and had a better time guessing between mirror coat and counter.

It's a fucking enormous grind, levelling Wobbuffet. But that was the challenge i set for myself so it was all desired.

Sudowoodo is slick as fuck, don't really have any tips just watch out; rock has a load of weaknesses to super common types, and the only moves he learns to cover his ass at all are fighting types to get past steel.

His speed is awful too, but if you just keep him away from special attackers, he can take a lot of hits no sweat

Apparently he can learn Wood Hammer too, but it's one of 5 "lv 1" moves and can't be bred; i have no idea how to actually get him wood hammer

It would be fucking swell though as wood hammer covers two move weaknesses

Would a diet Totodile be a good way to call those? Like the Totodile line they have decent defense, attack, and low speed. I don't think it's movepool is as good though.

Okay, looks like I'm using a Heracross.
A flying type does seem like a good idea.
I was thinking about skarmory, but isn't it found very late in the game, or has that changed in the remakes?

Although I haven't used them myself I have heard good things.

Also Gyarados is good if you don't mind the four times electric weakness. Physical moves are it's specialty.

Tauros is pretty legit.

When I got to Lance his Gyarados critted Tauros and thus Anger Point kicked in, I swept lance with Tauros.

It was pretty anticlimactic but still.
