i like the design overall but its shooting position is so unnatural and simply wrong that it makes me wonder if these leaks are legit after all

I don't expect I just see that its not gonna work well. Its bow is too close to its head and so on.But I guess its another case of "game phisics"

Can I also bring up the fact that his hood does close as he pulls in the vine?

I mean, it might help him aim better, but let's hope his hood doesn't completely shut by the time he shoots or else, someone's gonna get it.

It actually doesn't. I mean, it should mechanically and probably still doesn't but its art is kind of inconsistent in that respect. Look at the side shot at the top left of the original art. The hood is open the same amount there as in the shot with it shooting. I think they just had it open in the stationary art so you could see its face more.
