Trying to dexnav chain for a shiny Axew in ORAS is really buttfuck difficult. It'll randomly stop scanning, or I'll accidentally step on a tile it was going to spawn on, or an old NPC man will step on it, etc. Dexnav chaining in grass is piss easy by comparison. When it's in grass they actually stay put, and you don't have to predict where they're going to pop up next.

I'm at 100-ish encounters now and I'm p exasperated. I just want to give my boyfriend his favorite shiny. Would hatching a billion eggs be a better choice at this point?
