What Pokemon deserve an evolution/ pre evolution/ mega/ Alolan form?

Fartetch'd needs an evolution. It's already weak enough as it is, so a pre-evolution is unnecessary. It would most likely be one of the weaker Mega Evolutions if it got one. An Alola Form would be neat and at least make it more interesting, but assuming Alola Forms don't increase the BST of a Pokémon it can't make Farfetch'd too much stronger.

I guess Empoleon could get plates on it's torso shaped like an ice-breaker

if you were going for a more mythological vibe it would be kind of hard since Empoleon already fits the design for a Neptune-inspired pokemon already. Anything else would be over-designing it

That needs to be an evolution, not a mega or a bullshit form.

That's the excuse I always see people using, but it's possibly the laziest excuse you could give. Farfetch'd pun is just ripe for turning on its head with an evolution representing the duck that refused to be cooked, escaped the boiling pot, whatever. In other words, have the evolution be the duck that was the one with good fortune, rather than the person that found it.
