They can't. China's a pretty big country with 1.5 billion people (i know obviously all of them wont play pokemon) but this is China's first official Pokemon release, so it's guaranteed tog get leaked fairly early. The earliest would probably be early October, but it will most likely be leaked late October.

They aren't that petty, XY got leaked really early in Italy but news from the games mostly came from the later Canada leak, and North America got ORAS and is getting SM the same time as Japan, Korea, and Australia

As for BW2, which came out in Japan months before everyone else anyways, I got a copy a week early in the US myself thanks to a based Koreatown Target, and we still get the games on time

Custom Firmwares (CFWs) are essentially a separate, version of your 3DS system NAND (sysNAND). It's basically like having two home screens that you can boot your 3ds into, but each one is entirely separate from the other, meaning they can be on different firmwares, have different games installed, etc. CFW are referred to as 'emuNAND' because they're pretty much an emulated version of your sysNAND. Having one lets you do a whole ton of stuff, like install .cia files (free games basically). They can only be installed if your system firmware is on 9.2 or lower, but if you're on anything up to 10.7 it's possible to downgrade to 9.2. If you are on 11.0 then it's currently not possible to downgrade to setup cfw.

Back when Bank first went up on the JP eShop I got it on my JP 3DS during that tiny window, worked with my US copies of Y and White 2.

Pokemon's also odd in it's the only game every system naturally picks up on the home menu, even when you have a bunch of games that have unique headers for every language you can see if you force it to be picked up by CFW or if you see it through StreetPass. It just won't play it.

There's a lot of points pointing to good difficulty but your extremely nitpicking one scenario

Hala as the first Kahuna is using a Quad group legend Pokemon and a fucking Z move

For all we know Guzma has a Z move too with his Ariados or second pokemon

For me, XY was a surprise. Unlike BW/B2W2, there wans't datamining for 3DS games at that point, so most leaks had to come from people who already had the game. Even the event legendaries were discovered accidentaly in the GPS when people started putting whatever in the search menu to see what it could stick.

He could be level 60 and the scaling would be the exact same

Compare with an ORAS demonstration of a player vs Brawly, where Grovyle was overleveled to hell and back compared to Brawly's Makuhita.

I don't even use a hacked Ditto, and I'm hyped as fuck for this.

At long last you won't be needing to reset for a Legendary except for its Nature if the Synchronizer doesn't work.

Also, making useful your playthrough/story team if they had a proper Nature is a dream that until this, it was assumed it wasn't going to happen.

This thing alone sold me SM as a whole.
