I would think that maybe Silver ones would be found in game that raise the ivs in one stat, while the gold would be similar to a master ball. We could also potentially have bronze ones which are easier to get but raise the ivs of one stat by say... 5.

These are MonColle figures, a line of toys that's been around since the start of the franchise. You may know them better as these things. They just started coming with platforms back in gen 5 (but they're not attached in any way).

I'd do so for any of my top-5 in a heartbeat. I like the Amiibo size and without being locked to Smash Bros poses they [hopefully] won't have another invisible anal dildo like on Lucario's.

If they had a good function in a game I'd expand to my top-20 mons.

It seems to be, outside of the rodent clones, almost entirely gen I, IV, and VII.

I would but I also feel like it would need to be it's own thing and a tad different than regular amiibos.

With 720+ Pokemon amiibos themselves are not really the most efficient release method.

I'd say smaller figures like the Tomy ones would be better. A mix of blindbags and boxed figures.

I bought tons of the smash ones for nintendo representation of characters like falcon and chibi robo because they get literally nothing,

Pokemon has SHIT TONS of merch, and amiibos are the last thing i'd want unless it was like 1 or 2 of my favorites.
