Mine was Torchic too! That's actually how Blaziken became my favourite Pokemon. I've played as a Torchic ever since.

Charmander, i had red rescue team. Also had Squirtle as my partner

I also became a Charmander for Darkness, but took Chikorita that time. Best pokemon to play as for a second time must be Skitty with attract, assist and double slap

Totodile. I've never completed a PMD game but I am making a concerted effort now that you can make custom starters in Super.

Not sure yet. Probably still have one of the regular choices as a partner, maybe Fennekin because of cute.

For the starter I'm trying to settle on something that I like as a pokemon that also won't look horribly out of place in the school setting of the early game, as well as being decent in the dungeon side of things.

It's kind of unrelated,but can someone tell me how to make sky editor to work?It doesn't seem to recognize NDS rom files.I've also tried 3.2 version but this one just refuses to boot up.

My first Mystery Dungeon game was Explorers of Time, and I really wanted to be a Munchlax but kept getting Pikachu. I caved and now I always pick Pikachu and a Grass-Type partner.
Pikachu and Turtwig (Explorers)
Pikachu and Chikorita (Rescue)
Pikachu and Chespin (Super)

Sadly I didn't start before team sky, but hey, I loved that game and I grew liking Riolu with it
