You know the Japanese name for Sand Rush is Sand Paddle? As in, the user swims through sand like it's water. Considering Garchomp's a landshark, it should've got it, but be glad that it did not.

I think the issue is that you need to run a counter to that specifically. It's not like Pokemon is balanced though, even without Garchomp.

But you don't. Carrying flying types, levitating pokemon, pokemon with ice moves, the latis, or fairies can beat it. You don't need to focus on it, you can just put up a pokemon with good coverage and you can beat it

Sort of an inversion, really. Gen VI regular Salamence isn't anything to sniff at, but terribly powerful in Mega forme. Garchomp plays a variety of roles in its normal forme, but its Mega forme somehow manages to be worse than it

Really, Garchomp's Mega Evolution is so unnecessary it's almost hilarious, especially with how hideous it looks.

Why GameFreak thought it would be a good idea to give Pseudos and Legendaries of all things Mega Evolutions is beyond me.

Want some advice on my quagsire's moveset. My definite slots are scald, earthquake, and recover but I don't know about the fourth slot. Smogon suggests toxic but I was thinking ice beam or hidden power fire for grass coverage but I wonder if it's even worth as its 4x weak to it and slow as fuck meaning I probably won't be able to even use it.
