Why did everyone believe Luchalitten & friends instead of the type info that came from the official website?

I understand now that Mallow was revealed, but back then it was unsourced "leaks" vs info taken straight from the official pokemon website.

We still don't know what the types from the website were, they can't have been for nothing.

The problem is that the found type info is too vague, which is why people initially argued that Rowlet would change type from flying to ground.

After Solgaleo and Lunala were revealed, Psychic, Steel, and Ghost were added, in the "incorrect" order.

Not only would that point towards those types belonging to something already revealed, it means the Ground/Fighting not necessarily being in the correct order
