>>28089855>the rebuilds are pretty good too IMO but from what I've seen most people don't like them.I try very difficult to not hate on things just because they're new, so I hope I don't come off as "hurrrrr they stoopit cuz they r new", but I have a big problem with how much they change, seemingly for no reason.
And I'm not talking about scene by scene type stuff. Some of the improvements are fucking great, the fight with Ramiel is fucking top notch, and even if they changed the iconic Unit 01 eating scene, the one they replaced it with was still cool.
But it's just stuff like Mari and the cat form evas and shit that just seem to strongly contradict the insane intricacy of the original series so much. I'll wait till the last one to really pass judgement, but man I was not liking 3.0. Also I fucking hate Mari.
