Fennekin I mentioned because my starter originally looked uncannily close to it, and I was forced to take all of my art down due to copyright, even though it had been submitted years before Fennekin was revealed. Rockruff I mention because of the werewolf biz, and the fact that Werecano here is Fire/Ground. Kinda easy to compare it to a rock werewolf.
My starters are:
Badgebit > Berriger > Forrager (Grass/dark, goes from a badger with markings that resemble a seed with a sprout on its head to a badger with a bush around its neck, to finally a badger with trees for fucking arms.)
Kember > Jackoal > Werecano (Small firey fox looking thing to a wolf looking thing to Werecano, which you've seen. Fire/ground, as mentioned.)
Rainewt > Surfent > Wavyrn (From a tiny shy newt, a more graceful lizard-like creature, to a beautiful lung dragon. Was going to make it Water/Dragon, but it would be overpowered, so Water/Flying.)
My region was also going to be based on Hawaii. Fancy that, huh? Lol. Another thing I was going to have was 8 gym leaders, but many small mini bosses (mini leaders) that would fill up the rest of the types. Unfortunately, trial captains are now a thing.
