>be me back when I was a sophomore in HS
>taking Japanese class
>end up sitting next to qt whole time
>she would occasionally spout 4chan memes and draw sonic and shit
>we talk a lot and hang out much in anime club
>find out she hasn't played Diamond/Pearl yet (this was back when they first came out)
>"That would be so awesome, anon! We can start a new game together!"
>at one point we talked about cell phones and she said "I use Virgin Mobile, it's like me. Virgin"

>summon up all my courage and overcome my autism to ask her out to a school dance
>"Yes, anon! Let's go!"
>get to the dance
>too much of a sperg to even ask her to dance with me
>during the one slow song she picks me up but I never even look in her eyes and step on her feet
>then we just sit awkwardly together and talk a bit
>her parents pick us up and we get Wendy's
>can't even eat
>later I never call her, and sitting by her in class is pure silence
>I end up buying her Pokemon Diamond and start a new game on my Pearl so we can start an adventure together
>again I summon all my courage and talk to her after class
