Even before I discovered furry or anthro prevent r34 shit in general, when I was playing RSE for the first time on my GPAsp, I remember thinking the whole Ralts line was just a cute. I always had a thing for not ever using any pokes that I personally consider uggos. Which is usually the big, strong, kaiju type ones like Rhydon, Tyranitar, Aggron, most legendaries, etc..
By Platinum, my team has almost always consisted of Gardevoir, Lucario, Lopunny, Scizor, Ninetails, Flygon, Banette, Absol and Zoroark.
Then I get on sites like this and learn that most if not all of my teams ever are waifu bait fap material. Damn.
As far as Gardevoir goes specifically, something about the idea of having a Gard in my party just feels right. Like, I could imagine being out and having one with me and it just being normal. Like, stopping by ye old ice cream parlor and having to order two cones because Gardevoir sitting there and giving me the sad eyes. Fugs or no fugs. Gardevoir is just a cute.
But also fugs.
