It's been a while since I played Gen 4 and I decided to restart Platinum as of late.

Now in the past when I played Gen IV, it was the first Gen I had played since Gen 2 was new and I kind of did the same strategies I did as a kid and that was to beef up your starter and try to 1 Shot everything in the game, and I have since learned that should never be the case.

What does a good team composition look like? Should I bother raising a Starly? I got a Shinx with Intimidate. This sounds weird given how I've played all of the games since, but it's been years since I played Gen 4 and this would be the first time I raise a proper party, so I am just curious.
