I'm assuming you would use Belly Drum to max out you're attack, and then use rest so you have a fully-powered standard Darmanitan. Thing is, I'm pretty sure this moveset would work even if it didn't have Zen Mode.

I guess the idea is that with Zen Mode you can take a hit better then rest up but it's still not a very good set in my honest opinion!
