He's not that great of a design unlike my boy Raichu and pushed too much to the forefront when he doesn't deserve or need to be when there could be other, better mascots from Gen 1 or just some equal treatment for any lucky mon who wants to cosplay.
I get that GF can only invest so much time in shallow aesthetic shit and special treatment because they're shitty, inefficient, and wasteful developers, but why always Pikachu?
