What are you talking about? That is a traditional euro dragon. The romanticized version that has been spread for years isn't anywhere close.

The tale of saint george told that dragons were snake like creature with stubby arms and legs, that spits poison. So a dragon made of Goo actually makes sense with regards to it.

It's not even excusable because Garchomp is basically the same sort of idea but done correctly.

Well it makes up for the lack of gargoyle mon in Kalos, which would have been perfect for it. Not that I don't love Noivern, it just might have been more fitting for a South American region since it reminds me of the camazotz. Then again, so does Lunala.
