We already know the name of the second island is Pink in Hawaiian

They're Yellow, Pink, Red and Purple just like the official colors of the actual islands

Could be. Sunsets are a visual often associated with Hawaii.

Each Hawaiian island has its own "national" colour. The 4 real-life islands the 4 Alola islands are based on have these 4 colours as their "national" colours. THAT'S why.

The best part about this is it potentially tells us what Pokemon types will be prominent, at least enough to make a decent 6 Pokemon E4 team (hopefully)
Electric, Fairy, Fire and Ghost are all in need of a significant amount of new Pokemon; Ice and Rock also need a lot of new Pokemon.

Oricorio's colors match the island colors and (so far) appear to match the island guardian types. The pink Oricorio is Psychic, not Fairy.
