Lance(Johto) > Alder > Cynthia > Steven > Lance (Kanto) = Diantha
Alder, Cynthia and Steven meant well, they were just too busy fapping to travelling, mythology and rocks to notice shit happening until it was already on the fan. Alder flew to the pokemon league to fuck N up as soon as he was brought up to speed He failed, but he tried at least before it all went to shit , Cynthia showed up at Mt. Coronet once Giratina showed up ready to guide you through the distortion world and POSSIBLY fuck Cyrus up if you failed, and Steven helped guide you through the entire end of Hoenn. Sadly, the cataclysm had already started, but at least he was there once he noticed it happening.
Lance couldn't give less of a shit about Kanto apparently, and Diantha not only didn't do shit against team Flare, she barely recognized the MC at first once they showed up to fuck up her shit even though they were the ones that stopped that whole fuckery in her place.
You could MAYBE make the point that Malva might have fucked with the flux of information as so not to alert the league, but you know, fuck you.
