I'm not sure exactly what they'll show, but I'm pretty sure they'll show something new for SM.
While Pokemon doesn't usually get trailers for the main games in regular directs, this is timed too perfectly with the usual trailer that comes early in the month to ignore.

Pokemon usually gets its own Directs and is rarely ever in a main Nintendo Direct.

The thing is, after that is a mystery. There's no other 3DS game I can think of coming soon, so it has to be new.

We've already had two Zelda's, two Mario&Luigi's, two Kirby's and Mystery Dungeon. I have no idea what their big Christmas game will be. I'm hoping for Mario Maker 3DS

Wouldn't be the first time but I agree.

The gap in info right now is likely because whatever is being revealed in Corocoro will be a marketing focal point going forward.

We will probably see a more steady flow afterwards.

The direct will have something though. Pokemon is a key handheld system seller and SM is an anticipated set of games. They're not going to be left out of a 3DS centered direct.

I'm really looking forward to Ever Oasis. It looks like they finally spiced up the Animal Crossing formula. My biggest hope for the game is that they let you capture and farm creatures.
