Above: Teto the fox squirrel and Nausicaä from the movie Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind(1984).

Below: Eevee and Gary Oak from Pokemon(1996)

Not many people outside of Japan knows this but Pokemon draws a lot of inspiration from Studio Ghibli.
