Pokemon Go kind of raised my interest again in Pokemon. While I wait for Sun/Moon to come out, which should I play: X/Y or OmegaRuby/AlphaSapphire? I've never played either.

ORAS. Genuinely fun game, shitposter's only big complaint about it is something that doesn't matter throughout the entire main game, everything else is just nitpicks.

XY are fun too but it does have a few more genuine flaws. Overall ORAS is better because it was working off of some games that already didn't have some of XY's flaws.

X/Y Pros:

ORAS Pros:
>Nostalgia but with nice graphics
>All content from XY (+ new megas)

Also reccently got back into Pokemon, even ordered a Black 1 cart awhile back. Y/X is pretty good, but falls into modern game trend.

Y/X does it better, though there are somethings that are pretty forgotten in it. I just started OmegaRuby and theres a bunch of changes they did and Im pretty sure the maps arent 1:1 with pretty graphics like the other remakes. Also maps are segmented (ie map transitions).
