What does it matter? Unless the middle stages are a deliberate step toward each an archer, wrestler, and siren, it could all be pulled off on just the final evo.

Look at how Charmeleon --> Charizard, Wartortle --> Blastoise, Dewott --> Samurott

There are many, many possible scenarios where the leaks are fake.
Most likely one? Someone saw Mallow before she was revealed, and put her in the fakes in order to make everyone believe they were true.
Second most likely one is that they were real leaks, but GF saw people fucking hated el Tigre and SealFucBoi and decided to change them.

It has been feeling like apart from the Fire starter, the direction of the middle evos has been left vague. I think it's been that way from Gens 2 to 6. We already see Litten becoming Dark by the images or pure by the website, so if it gets a typing I guess its evo will be settled.
