If Dragon Ball Fusions can have 1013 playable characters to collect in one game, why can't there be a Pokemon game where you collect all 800+ pokemon (Gen 7 included)?

OP here, I mean in-game without transferring between other games. I know for a fact that gen-1 pokemon are Alola-Form only and you can only get the originals through transfers.

I wanna explore the poke-world and catch all pokemon, evolutions and forms just like I can recruit all characters, transformations and fusions in DBF.

They're never going to do it, because then you'd have no reason to buy both versions, whatever remakes come out, or bother with any events.

Catching them all isn't supposed to be a purely solo experience anon.
